Moving the Needle

Wonders truly never cease. I am down one entire pound as of this morning! This puts me at March Madness goal weight. If I can hang on here for another week, I’ll be a whole 5 pounds less than I was this time last year when I ran or should I say suffered through March Madness. As I do every year, I vowed never to run it again unless I qualified for Boston. Whaddya know?
Now if I can drop 3 more lbs. in the next 6 weeks, I’ll be sitting pretty for Boston, clocking in at a weight I personally have not enjoyed in more than 2 decades.

My usual Plyometric Intervals are in the bag for today. I ran some at incline, walked some, did lots of weights and core work. But boy it took me a loooong time to get down there and get to work. I seemed to want to loll around in front of the computer, coffee in hand for way longer than I have a right to lately.

We’re springing ahead this weekend! And it’s another really pretty day in these parts. And the spring flowers ARE poking their tender heads out of the newly thawed soil. Hooray! For now life is good. It’s supposed to rain buckets though, this weekend. Pray I can squeeze my 15-miler in at some point outside. Cranking that out on the dreadmill would not be pretty.
