Givers vs Takers

August 20, 2015

It was utter chaos here this morning. Day two of back to school and it’s already hit the fan. Thing 2 has her usual schedule and usual bus. But Thing 1 is navigating high school. A big one with 5,000+ students. With a zillion buses and morning traffic in total gridlock, I’d be hard-pressed to [Read More]

It was a PIA walking around (and running) with all those wires sticking to me but it’s over. Not loving: I won’t get any results for an entire week. Geez. [Read More]

Overwhelmed!

September 1, 2011

A mere two weeks into the new school year, well short weeks but still, I’m waving my white flag in surrender. I suspect I’m preaching to the choir here and I know many of you have issues far more challenging butHelp! I am overwhelmed! Three calls asking me to volunteer at school came in yesterday…Plus [Read More]

marciashealthyslice I'm a working mom who, as part of a mid-life challenge, decided to run a marathon for kicks. I didn't plan on it becoming a hobby, but it did. I qualified for Boston at my second marathon and finished the 6 World Marathon Majors in London in 2019. Set no small goals. You never know what you're capable of until you try!
