Pretty Muddy Race Report

September 17, 2012

I’d never done a mud run before. Slivers, ankle sprains, broken arms and singed eyebrows come to mind. Then there’s all that mud… When I was invited to run the Pretty Muddy 5k in Chicago, I reconsidered. It’s definitely out of my comfort zone. marciashealthyslice I'm a working mom who, as part of a mid-life challenge, decided to run a marathon for kicks. I didn't plan on it becoming a hobby, but it did. I qualified for Boston at my second marathon and finished the 6 World Marathon Majors in London in 2019. Set no small goals. You never know what you're capable of until you try!
