Race Report: Soldier Field 10 Mile

May 26, 2014

Unlike last week, this time I was not up ahead of my 3:40 alarm, but rather in the midst of a dream when I was awakened. One where I was calculating training paces for one of my run coaching clients. I’ve heard that deep sleep is when the brain orders its thoughts and apparently that’s [Read More]

Loving/Not Loving

May 21, 2014

Not Loving that I bought a whole cargo shipload of toilet paper that was of such inferior quality (read thin, shreddy, just not up to snuff) even the family complained about it. Loving that we finally FINALLY used it up! Not Loving that I got a mystery stain on the white tank I wore to [Read More]

Track season is over! Thing 1’s team captured the conference championship and they’re being recognized [Read More]

marciashealthyslice I'm a working mom who, as part of a mid-life challenge, decided to run a marathon for kicks. I didn't plan on it becoming a hobby, but it did. I qualified for Boston at my second marathon and finished the 6 World Marathon Majors in London in 2019. Set no small goals. You never know what you're capable of until you try!
