Zensah Sports Bra Review

February 24, 2011

My first experience with Zensah was in Boston last year. I was agonizing over the weather and what to wear (what else is new?). Tank? Sleeves? when I came upon the Zensah booth at the expo.

I ended up wearing a tank with some Zensah arm sleeves that I rolled up and down as conditions changed. Although I violated code 6-1.2 schedule C in the marathon rule book: never wear anything you haven’t already tried in training, the sleeves were comfy and wonderful.
When Zensah asked me to try their Running Sports Bra recently, the girls and I were all over it. I chose a size S/M in blue. Studly baby blue if you must know.
Immediately I noticed this bra had no scratchy tags flapping around and was completely SEAMLESS.

The fit was just right: stretchy yet supportive, but not too tight.

I wore it:
To a 10k race
On a 12-mile long run
For plyometric intervals
For sweaty mile repeats on the mill not to mention countless tempo runs
To yoga
To personal training sessions
I experienced absolutely no discomfort, chafing or other irritation. The bra is made of an ultra-breathable, moisture-wicking nylon/spandex blend that kept me very comfortable throughout all of my workouts.
I machine washed it in cold water and air dried it repeatedly. It continues to look and perform as if it were brand new. What could be better than a fantastic bra? A fantastic bra that comes in fabulous colors! Plus it’s MADE IN THE USA!

I award this bra my highest rating: 10 Studs!

marciashealthyslice I'm a working mom who, as part of a mid-life challenge, decided to run a marathon for kicks. I didn't plan on it becoming a hobby, but it did. I qualified for Boston at my second marathon and finished the 6 World Marathon Majors in London in 2019. Set no small goals. You never know what you're capable of until you try!
