11 things about me:
1. My flight out to San Diego yesterday for the Carlsbad Marathon was cancelled due to snow.
2. I slipped and fell flat on my ass in said snow when I was out getting mail and walking the dogs.
3. The dogs looked on in horror as mail spewed everywhere. I got a good shot of snow up my back.
4. I was completely uninjured. Not even the ornery hamstring protested. Spry.
5. Why do I find it hilarious when someone wipes out? Even myself?
6. I booked a cruise for spring break the day after the Concordia fiasco. Defiant? Stupid? You be the judge.
8. Since I didn’t fly yesterday, I worked on a cookie recipe that has quinoa in it.
9. Chocolate-covered almonds need to be banned from this house. There is no moderation for me with these.
10. I’ve been hitting the weights hard lately. And my weight is going up. Is it muscle? Or the damn almonds?
11. I have a plane to catch today. Snow has stopped. San Diego here I come!
