Aspaeris Pivot Shorts Review/Giveaway

January 4, 2012

Because I tend to be a smidge injury prone, RICE (rest, ice, COMPRESSION, elevation) is pretty much a daily ritual for me. When the opportunity arose to try Aspaeris Pivot Shorts, I was all over it.

I was a tad leery when they arrived, because they looked tiny. Would they really stretch enough to accommodate the ( according to Thing 2) ‘giant’ expanse otherwise known as my ornery thighs, hips, glutes?
Indeed they did. And they felt great too.

Aspaeris Pivot shorts are made from two layers of seamless, wicking nylon/spandex that compress around tired muscles helping them feel fresh (when they’re anything but) all the while remaining comfortable.

Here’s the under layer of the shorts. Dual-sensory compression bands are designed to guide muscles into proper position. I am not the model, in case you were wondering.
Here I am.
And again, apparently checking my bad self out. Gotta love the photog skills of a 6 year old.
So anyway, I ran in these up to 10 miles and I’ve done plenty of super sweaty millwork and corework in them as well. I was worried they’d get hot, since there are two layers–that has not been the case. I’ve even slipped them on after higher mileage and used them as a recovery tool. You know how tempermental my hams and glutes can be.
WIN IT!
