Look What The Cat Dragged In

May 20, 2018

I am just in the door from an amazing adventure weekend in La Crosse, Wisconsin. If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you already saw some of the shenanigans we’ve been up to but there’s so much more goodness I can’t wait to tell you all about.

Stay tuned to find out what the heck is in this ginormous bag

But first, here’s how the week’s workouts went:

Monday:  Rest
Tuesday: Run 5 Miles
Wednesday: Strength + Bike 12 miles
Thursday: Run 4 miles
Friday: Travel to La Crosse, WI
Saturday: La Crosse River to Ridge Trail Race + Mountain Bike Adventure
Sunday: More Touring/Travel home

Last week was all about tying up loose ends before we set out for La Crosse on Friday.

I finally pulled out Blanche the trusty road bike and took her for her first spin of the season. While I didn’t plan it that way, it was actually good practice for the mountain bike adventure we went on in La Crosse. More on that to come, I promise. I know I’m a tease but mountains of laundry and prep for the work/school week await me.

While I get unpacked remember that since this coming Friday is the last one of May (what??) the Runfession Friday Linkup will be open.

I’ve also got upcoming Tuesdays on the Run Linkup topics for you. I hope you’ll join us:

  • 5/22 Favorite Memorial Weekend Races
  • 5/29 Grade Your Month
  • 6/5   Global Running Day Plans
  • 6/12 Let’s hear it for Dad
  • 6/19 Summer Plans
  • 6/26 Grade Your Month

How was your week? Did you race? What’s your fave weekend getaway destination?

I’m linking up with  Holly and Wendy for the Weekly Wrap.

I raced in the rain again. This time 13 Miles.

In the summer, Lake George is my fave. Otherwise it’s NYC.

Can’t wait to read more details!

I raced on Mother’s Day Weekend, and I will race on Memorial Day, but nothing in between. So far, Savannah is my favorite destination for running, but I’m sure that could change in time, as I visit more places.
