Back from Beantown

April 20, 2010

Wow what a weekend! When it comes to excitement, Boston does not disappoint. It was fun, stressful, hard, glorious, all of those things rolled into one. Where do I even start?

I flew home late last night–there was a medical emergency onboard–a runnner no less–so we ended up landing a half hour early. That was very disturbing and my thoughts and prayers go out to him. It was an important reminder of how dangerous marathoning can be.

I’ll be back with a weekend recap and race report soon!

Thank you all for your good wishes!

    So happy for you!!!! congrats!!

marciashealthyslice I'm a working mom who, as part of a mid-life challenge, decided to run a marathon for kicks. I didn't plan on it becoming a hobby, but it did. I qualified for Boston at my second marathon and finished the 6 World Marathon Majors in London in 2019. Set no small goals. You never know what you're capable of until you try!
