Three Things Thursday

May 13, 2010

1. This would have been another Try It Out Thursday if the product I’m in the process of reviewing wasn’t launched behind the washing machine by Thing 2 in her attempt to ‘help’ me. Gotta give her credit for trying. Now it may be years before the review comes, who knows when I’ll venture behind the washer to retrieve it? Maybe never…heaven knows what else may be hiding back there.

2. I’m heading back to the dentist today with Thing 2. Turns out she has a cavity between two teeth. So now we’re to floss with some fluoride concoction on the floss. Can this be a little more complicated? I wonder how many donuts I’ll need to bribe her with to sit in the chair and not cry?

3. Big, fun GIVEAWAY right here tomorrow. You won’t wanna miss it!

I'm a bigger weenie when it comes to the dentist than my son…. hope it goes ok! ๐Ÿ™ Too funny about the whatever-it-is behind the washer!! Oops!

Just let whatever it is site behind there. 10 years from now or when ever you move, you will have a treasure full of items to whelm over. lol. As far as the dentist goes, I hate them. They are cruel as they pick and prod into your mouth.

#2 . . . . . I'm feeling for you. My daughter had four – yes 4 cavities between teeth?! oh ya, I'm an awesome mom. Seriously 8 teeth all needing attention…yuck.

Will be hoping all goes well for you there!!

I wouldn't go behind the washer or dryer. We are getting ready to move after eleven years and I am very afraid of what might be back there.

I actually don't mind the dentist too much, I think I was a little like Thing 1 and had to go a lot when I was a kid!
And about the choco covered addiction – I'm addicted to choco right now, too! And I don't know why?! Usually I can pass on it, but lately I keep making brownies, cookies, you name it! Ugh! Not helping me shed the 10 pounds I need to!
Happy Thursday and good luck at the dentist!

    Dear Thing 2:
Thanks so much for trying to help your mom with whatever it was. Now we are all having fun with our imaginations, wondering what it was and what creatures might be hiding with it behind your washer. If you find out, let us know.

It was amazing the things that we found behind the dryer when we moved. Amazing.

marciashealthyslice I'm a working mom who, as part of a mid-life challenge, decided to run a marathon for kicks. I didn't plan on it becoming a hobby, but it did. I qualified for Boston at my second marathon and finished the 6 World Marathon Majors in London in 2019. Set no small goals. You never know what you're capable of until you try!
