This week on Tuesdays on the Run we’re talking all about sponsors. You know, the peeps whose product goes together with you like peanut butter on jelly. Maybe it’s a race series, a running shoe brand, a type of fuel or an accessory you love. This is your chance to put your smoke signals out there cuz who knows? They just might be reading.

If I could choose just ONE more sponsor, I’d have to go with my whole reason for this blog. I’m in it to run the World Marathon Majors. I’ve got Boston, Chicago and New York City finito. London and Berlin are going to be a challenge logistically and lottery-wise. Where there’s a will there’s a way though. If I were a World Marathon Majors-sponsored runner (not sure if that’s even a thing), I’d be able to make my way to Europe much more easily.

Everyone seems to love Spandits. We do not have them in France but I definitely need to check them out. EVERYONE raves. How is the waistline ? I like a wide waist band, and low rise.

If I had to pick a ‘dream’ sponsor, it would have to be someone who would fly me to races and pay for lodging. Like an airlines or Runners World…

I’m tough on sponsors, but right now Under Armour and Oiselle are still my go-to. I actually don’t like a lot of brands right now. Either they’ve changed their product and I no longer like them, or the company is acting too big for its britches and being a bully.

You represent some fantastic brands, and there a few that I haven’t heard of and need to check out! That would be awesome to get a sponsorship to run the world majors! Most of those cities (besides Boston, NYC and London) I’d just love to go for a vacation!
You certainly have a nice group of brands that you are working with. I guess I am so particular about my gear that it would be hard for me to pick the perfect sponsor. I might choose American Airlines not that there would be a prayer because I love to travel.

If I was to ever get a dream sponsor, I’ve always wanted someone to sponsor me to run the Antarctica Marathon. I’ll probably have to save up to do it myself because I’d like to do one on each continent. But if I could get someone to flip the $20,000 bill for Antarctica, yeah that would be a dream and why not dream, there is no harm in it, ha ha!
