Look What the Sea Breeze Blew In

I’m just back from Vancouver where I ran the Lululemon Seawheeze Half Marathon. Stay tuned for the lowdown on the weekend. For now, let’s just say there were highs and lows…epic bling…body searches…and blood soaked socks. I won’t even bore you with last week’s training. In a nutshell I took things light. Very light, since I’m fresh off of running ZOOMA Great Lakes last weekend.

Since it’s Medal Monday and all, I’ll leave you with a pic of, hands down, the most beautiful bling I ever got. Probably the most scenic course I ever ran as well. Not easy by any means but wow, the scenery and sea breezes were so good for my soul. Vancouver is one of my favorite cities and I encourage you to visit if you haven’t already.

  8. Oh man this sounds insane! I cannot wait for the recap. That medal is gorgeous and sounds hard earned. Vancouver is definitely on my “must see” places before I die…preferably to ski but I wouldn’t mind running there either. I hope you are seriously recovering!
