Roasted Honey Chipotle BBQ Sweet Potatoes

November 10, 2020

I’ve always loved to cook, but especially since the pandemic shutdowns started back in March, I cook at home A LOT. I use lots of spices and seasonings on the regular. What if those simple seasonings I use every day contained vitamins and minerals my family and I need? Well now they do. Recently I was invited to test Enspice Seasonings.

I received this product for free from Moms Meet to use and post my honest opinions.

What is Enspice?

Enspice is a collection of premium-quality, plant-based spices and seasonings, infused with 21 vitamins and minerals. Each spice blend contains vitamins and minerals like Vitamin D, Calcium, Magnesium, Thiamin, Selenium, you get the idea. The vitamins come from the nutrients in plants like organic spinach, kale, pumpkin, sweet potato, sunflower seeds, chlorella and mushrooms.

Six Varieties to Choose From
Seasoned Salt
Taco Seasoning
Black Pepper
Cape Cod
Chipotle BBQ
Sri Lankan Cinnamon

I’ve been loving the Taco Seasoning on Taco Tuesday. We use the Seasoned Salt, Black Pepper and Cape Cod seasoning when we grill, which is all the time. I’ve been known to add a dash of Sri Lankan Cinnamon to my Greek Yogurt, and just wait ’til you try the Roasted Honey Chipotle BBQ Sweet Potato recipe I’m sharing below!

All Enspice spices and seasonings are gluten-free, non-GMO and kosher. One teaspoon of Enspice contains 50% of the recommended daily allowances. It all adds up!

Enspice Gives Back

For each purchase made, Enspice will donate a meal to a child in need. How wonderful is that?

Roasted Honey Chipotle BBQ Sweet Potatoes

Pin this recipe for later. Trust me you need to make these.

I’ve been grilling a ton of veggies lately. Winter squash and sweet potatoes are so very good when they’re roasted. Since it’ll be just the four of us here for Thanksgiving dinner this year, I decided to break from some of our traditional dishes and experiment with new, healthier versions of old favorites. That’s how these Roasted Honey Chipotle BBQ Sweet Potatoes were born.

Coat sweet potato chunks with seasonings and roast in a 400º F oven

They’re super easy to make. After cutting the sweet potatoes into chunks, simply coat them in oil and spices before roasting. Here’s the step-by-step recipe.

I love roassted veggies; especially sweet potatoes. Love the use of chipotle–so perfect for this recipe. This would be great for Thanksgiving!

I haven’t had roasted vegetables for a long time! Thank you for the idea, Marcia.
I like the idea that Enspice donates a meal for a child in need for every purchase. We need more of that kind of engagement.

I have not seen these spices yet. I do love to add flavor to my veggies with fun flavors and the chipotle BBQ sounds right up my alley. I will look for them!

What a great product! I put black pepper on everything, so I would totally use that one. Your sweet potatoes look delicious! Thanks for linking up! -M

Enspice sounds like a great company! I’ve always cooked a lot. I think it’s sad more people don’t cook for themselves. Although in general I think I’ve been cooking a little bit less, actually. Mr. Judy being home means he can fix his own breakfast & dinner (we do a bigger meal at lunch most days now).

The sweet potatoes sound good too! Thanks for sharing the recipe.
