Time.  Recently I had the opportunity to check [Read More]

I just got back from Thing 2’s book fair at school. They visited yesterday, assembled their ‘wish lists’ then visited again today to make purchases. I met Thing 2 there, got her a couple of books and, since I’m a pushover, some animal erasers she wanted….plus we bought a couple of things for her classroom. [Read More]

Loving/Not Loving

February 25, 2014

Loving the longer daylight Not loving the lingering polar temps Not Loving that the Olympics are over Loving there were no terrorist attacks and the athletes get to go home to clean water and Bob Costas’ eye can make a full recovery. marciashealthyslice I'm a working mom who, as part of a mid-life challenge, decided to run a marathon for kicks. I didn't plan on it becoming a hobby, but it did. I qualified for Boston at my second marathon and finished the 6 World Marathon Majors in London in 2019. Set no small goals. You never know what you're capable of until you try!
