Hump Day Happiness

February 24, 2010

Something Beautiful
I received this gorgeous charm necklace the other day as I was the lucky winner in Shelly’s It’s Just One Foot in front of the Other Lift Your Sole Giveaway. I love it!
Thanks so much again Shelly and Jill at Lift Your Sole!

Tibial Healing
Here’s the ‘robo leg’.
My Sports Doc really worked me over the other day. The interferential stim made my tibialis instantly sore. The Graston, while not painful, was not as pleasant as it was on the first visit either. The doc said he could easily detect the contrast between the achilles and the posterior tibialis, ergo the swelling/inflammation is down. Happy day! I’m summoning my inner Kerri Walsh by sporting this jaunty K-tape: racy don’t you think?

Blog Award
I am honored to receive this award from Patience at A Reason or a Season. Exotic isn’t it? It reminds me of springtime, something I am more than ready for. Thank you girlfriend! And now I shall pass it on to 6 bloggy pals who inspire me everyday.

Welcome New A-listers!!
It’s so nice to have you here! To think I didn’t even lure you with a giveaway. Not that there won’t be one coming up soon or anything. If you haven’t already, please leave me a comment and I will be around to say hi.

I often wonder why it is that therapy almost always hurts more than the actual injury.

Yes, I know you have a love/hate thing going on. I hope I only have love for mine. I went with the Lady Issacs. Mainly because I ordered them through runningskirts with the discount code from Tricia. They only had two options and honestly the price was the big factor for me. They should be here tomorrow!

marciashealthyslice I'm a working mom who, as part of a mid-life challenge, decided to run a marathon for kicks. I didn't plan on it becoming a hobby, but it did. I qualified for Boston at my second marathon and finished the 6 World Marathon Majors in London in 2019. Set no small goals. You never know what you're capable of until you try!
