Leap Day Fun

March 1, 2012

The dogs and I made the most of our ‘extra’ day yesterday. After a foggy start, it was windy and eerily warm. No better time to take a nature walk and soak up some precious vitamin D.

The 8+” blanket of snow that covered everything just 5 days ago…

ย

…melted into a promising mush.

ย

There were signs of spring above…

…and below.

Happy March!

How did you make the most of the leap day?

I love the new digs! The signs of spring are so nice to see. We have sunshine and warm weather today but I don’t have it in my legs to go ride again. I think they would revolt!

Love the new digs! We woke up to snow/rain on March 1st, so not exactly “springlike” weather here!

I love the snow picture. I miss snow. For Leap Day I taught my Step Interval class and argued with my son about homework. So some highlights and some teen angst.

Very nice! I will hit the old RSS button when I’m finished with this comment.

We didn’t do anything special for Leap Day, but I *have* seen little crocuses pushing up here!

Oooo la la….look at this. Fancy! I’m so not techno savvy, so it will probably take me forever to figure this new website out.

I worked for leap year day. Yeah, I tried to get out of it by saying that technically it was a REAL day, but they rolled their eyes as usual. Oh well.
