Reversal of Fashion

May 23, 2014

What? We’re talking fashion now? What is this blog coming to? I mentioned I may be in somewhat of an ‘acquisition’ phase with a couple of recent workout wear purchases. First there was the quest for patterned capris (mission accomplished). Then I needed to replace my stained white tank (check). You know the drill.

Along the way I noticed a couple of my things are reversible. You know, tagless and can be worn on both sides.

Exhibit A: Champion sports bra.

Orange on one side, reversing to pink.

Exhibit B: Zella Capris.

Grey on one side, patterned on the other.

Cool yes?

But how often do you think I actually wear each of these pieces on the ‘other’ side? If you guessed never, you’d be close to right. I wore the capris with the grey side showing once, just to make myself do it but probably won’t ever again. I bought them for the pattern after all. The bra I almost always wear on the pink side. Why??? I love me some orange…maybe I need a therapist.

I am linking up with Jill today for Fitness Friday. Join us!

Do you have reversible workout clothes? Do you wear them on one or both sides? Still time to enter my giveaway!

I do not have any reversible clothes, workout or otherwise. I have, however, worn my workout clothes inside out. On more than one occasion. Which would be fine if I hadn’t Instagramed it. Nice.

I got a pair of shorts from lululemon that were reversible (inadvertantly) and never use both sides haha. Though I guess it is cool to have that option!

Very cool that it’s reversible! Great colors too!

I have a reversible swimsuit that i thought i’d flip around so it didn’t look like i was always wearing the same thing…but no…i never reverse it either. I guess the good news is that these reversible pieces have adequate coverage…not something that can be see through!

I don’t have anything reversible, but I sure have noticed the trend. I don’t think I would buy something just because it is reversible.

But I’m all about orange…actually I’m loving all the bright colors lately!

I don’t have any (that I know of)! I think I would wear a favorite side. And I can’t wear gray bottoms. LOL! Sweat too much! That pattern is cute!

Umm….if any of my things are reversible I don’t know it. I would be like you and always wear them the same probably.

I saw that Lorna Jane had some reversible tights and my thought was exactly the same as yours. Yes, it’s a cool idea but I’d probably never reverse it.

I’d love some reversible workout gear, and I’d definitely wear them on both sides – depending on my mood. 🙂
