June by Number

June 30, 2014

June was a lull before the (NYC marathon training) storm. Actually there was so much going on with the kids and end of school, ice shows/competitions, birthdays, travel and the like that putting running on the back burner was pretty perfect. I kept true to my word and kept June a Racebattical month.

Oh I’m jealous of all the pool days!! Our weather has been so weird – lots and lots of storms. Big damper for pool time!

Isn’t it nice to finally get to slow down a bit? I hate that one third of the summer is now given over to so many activities but such is the parenting life these days. We are definitely loving the break in schedule now!

Twelve pool days sound awesome! I’ve only had one so far this summer.

Four inches of hair is a lot. Are you still taking those hair and nail vitamins? Where you taking two or four a day? I got them but not sure that they are making a difference with my nails.
