One of the requirements of this award is that I share 7 things about myself so here goes:
1. Modern Caveman and I started dating as the result of a bench press contest. I shot off my mouth and said, with training, I thought I could bench 125 lbs. I hired the most muscle-bound trainer at the gym and pumped way for 6 weeks until the big showdown. I ended up lifting a respectable (for me) 115 but got creamed anyway.
2. We moved to England 6 weeks after we were married and lived there for a few years. I took up English dressage and loved every minute of it.
3. We were the first visitors to enter the Colosseum in Rome on our first wedding anniversary.
4. I am a washed up competitive figure skater who still teaches skating lessons from time to time.
5. I knocked my 2 front teeth out in a cycling accident when I was much younger. The main reason this year’s planned duathlon is a big milestone for me.
6. I hold a red belt in Tae Kwon Do, just one test away from a black belt.
7. I am the oldest girl of 6 kids: 3 boys and 3 girls. Yes, Marcia Brady comes to mind.

Thats so cool that you lived in England. I have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do 🙂 but I got it when I was in like 5th grade, so I really don't remember much at all, but I still have it!
