I'm trying to stay on schedule while dealing with posterior tibial tendonitis. Good news – my doc is a marathoner and sympathetic to my desire to keep training. You are my inspiration on how to work through an injury and get to race day in good shape. Can't believe you'll be hitting the streets of Boston again in a week!

  29. Suzy says

    April 14, 2010 at 2:02 pm

10 days left!!! Hmmm, I finally scheduled a 5K at the end of May. Only time will tell how I do. I know I can shave a good 3-4 mins off my last 5K if I'm half-way with it on race day. I've decided I really don't like the short distance though.

marciashealthyslice I'm a working mom who, as part of a mid-life challenge, decided to run a marathon for kicks. I didn't plan on it becoming a hobby, but it did. I qualified for Boston at my second marathon and finished the 6 World Marathon Majors in London in 2019. Set no small goals. You never know what you're capable of until you try!
