Stuff I’m Bringing to Europe

July 1, 2015

We’re shipping out shortly for a European odyssey. Packing light is the name of the game. Except undies. Gotta have plenty of those. Now that I’ve procured an extensive stash of skivvies, packing is in full swing here. Here’s what else I’ll be dragging across the pond:

CEP socks

1. Compression Socks. I love them for recovery and I may love them even more for long flights. Since I’ll be both running and flying long, compression socks will play a starring role on this trip.

Yummari open

2. Healthy Snacks. What’s a transatlantic voyage without ample sustenance? Behold my latest find: Yummari Endurance Nuggets. Inspired by the tribe of celebrated endurance runners from Mexico’s Copper Canyon, these tasty nuggets are made from simple superfoods like hemp seeds, chia and gluten-free oats. yummari

They’re organic, non-GMO, gluten-free and vegan but most important, they’re delicious! Stay tuned for a kickstarter campaign coming up on July 21!

3. Spandits Boardies. The object of my summer gear crush. I’m obsessed with this “starry night” pattern. Boardies are not too long and not too short, come in super-fun colors and patterns and are super light; read they’ll take up virtually no space in my suitcase. Remember SPANDITSLOVE at checkout saves you 10%!

Wahoo Tickrx

4. Wahoo TICKRX Activity Tracker. I told you all about this here. Because it tracks run, bike, swim and works with the 7-minute workout, how could I leave home without it?

5. Gifts. One can’t visit friends in foreign countries without bringing goodies, right? I’m not going to tell you what I’m dragging over because that’s top secret. Plus gift-giving frees up precious luggage space for new purchases.
